Name: Aurora Evans

Home Town: Anville Village

Age: 12

History: Grew up in Anville Village, causing no end of trouble for her fellow villagers. Her parents run the family business; her dad a gravedigger, her mom a service organizer (helps people pay their respects and generally runs everything). She grew up used to the idea of death, though she's not exactly a fan of it. Surprisingly she managed to turn out really high-strung and upbeat, running around with her pokemon in the woods around the village, training them and herself. These ventures usually ended up with her lost and needing help to get home. At first from village search parties, but over time her pokemon developed an excellent internal compass to compensate for their master. Her best friend Jing also accompanied her often.

Personality: Well meaning idiot pretty much hits the nail on the head here. She's brash enough to outright tell you what she's passionate about, and stubborn enough to not let anything less than utter defeat deter her. It's a wonder she manages to keep the calm and collected Jing as a friend and endear herself to most everyone in her home town. Also fiercely loyal to anyone who earns her respect/ admiration/ friendship/ what have you. Honestly it's not that hard to get in her good graces. I wouldn't say she's overconfident though, more like tenacious. Stupidly tenacious.

Pokemon

Felix/Gengar: Aurora's first pokemon. He's got an impish personality, but rarely takes things too far. Over-protective of Aurora, but not enough to keep him from scaring her half to death with a good trick.
Alis/Lampent: (pronounced like Alice) Aurora's second pokemon, obtained shortly after Felix. More level-headed than her master, and lacking somewhat in confidence. She always manages to step up to the plate when Aurora really needs her though.
Ophelia/shiny Umbreon: The rookie of the group. She's been with Aurora a year or so, but didn't grow up with her like Felix and Alis. For this reason she can be a bit of a rogue at times. She's also slightly crazy. Since evolving she has become a bit more restrained, she makes an effort not to act rashly and make trouble for Aura... she's still a stubborn show off so this does not always work out.
Westley/ Buizel: The newest addition from round 2. He's good-natured and has taken quite a shine to Aura after they helped each other out of a mutually tough situation. He doesn't like to make waves (lol *brick*) but he is more than happy to do his best to be of use to Aura, and will give any fight his all. Ophelia does not like him. Ophelia has now developed a "healthy" rivalry with him.

It may be a given looking at their movesets, but Aurora is not much of a status fighter. She'll be sneaky and get... creative with her approach, but aside from the odd status effect caused by a move inadvertently, the fight will be physical.

There is a blackjack in her satchel, and she has other tricks up her sleeve for when she has to get involved in fights. The bandages on her arms cover burn marks from practicing some of these tricks; Alis was involved, but Aurora never blamed her. Still these incidents contributed a bit to Alis' lowered self-confidence.
